The Freesat category includes Freesat receivers? What’s the difference between Freesat and Free to air receivers? Freesat receivers give a 7 day EPG whereas FTA only give you Now and Next. Freesat receivers retune channels themselves whereas in FTA receivers you have to do it yourself. Overall Freesat receivers require a lot less maintenance than FTA receivers. We have options of Freesat receivers with and without Hard Drives to record. Remember if you want to record one channel and watch another you will need 2 cables connected to the receiver from the satellite dish.
